Digital Archiving and Preservation Policy
Archipelagic Studies in Language, Literature, and Education (ASLLE) is committed to ensuring the long-term availability, accessibility, integrity, and preservation of its published scholarly content.
The journal maintains its digital scholarly record through the preservation and backup mechanisms supported by the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform and the journal's hosting infrastructure.
Published articles, article metadata, issue information, supplementary files, and other relevant journal content are maintained as part of the journal's digital publishing record.
The journal implements regular data backup procedures to reduce the risk of permanent data loss caused by technical failure, human error, security incidents, or other disruptions.
ASLLE also supports interoperable dissemination and preservation through mechanisms such as OAI-PMH, persistent article URLs, structured metadata, and other standards supported by the journal platform.
Where external digital preservation services or repository arrangements are implemented, the journal will maintain appropriate preservation copies to support continued access to published content in the event that the journal website becomes temporarily or permanently unavailable.
The journal periodically reviews its digital preservation arrangements and may adopt additional preservation services, repository systems, or archival networks as its technical infrastructure develops.
